FHIT Futures is designed for young hockey players who are motivated to improve, compete, and build a strong foundation in their game.
This is not a recreational camp. It’s a structured training environment where young players are trained with purpose by professional coaches who challenge them appropriately and encourage them to grow and compete. The focus is on building the skills, habits, and confidence that will serve athletes throughout their hockey career.
FHIT Futures is built around four development priorities:
FHIT Futures operates across four campuses in the Twin Cities metro area and western Wisconsin, coached by the same professional staff that trains MAP Hockey athletes.
Each training day includes:
Each on-ice session is intentionally designed to maximize development:
Every session is led by certified FHIT Hockey coaches at a maximum 8:1 player-to-coach ratio, ensuring individual attention, consistent feedback, and high-quality development at every session.
FHIT Hockey provides structure while allowing flexibility for athletes managing multiple commitments. Most players train 2-3 days per week. Families can select the frequency that fits their schedule.
Each Futures training day includes:
Focuses on skating, skills, and game-relevant competition
High-repetition drills to build confidence and consistency
Age-appropriate speed, coordination, and movement training
On-Ice Session Structure
FHIT Hockey athletes are coached by the most experienced and knowledgeable coaches in the country:
Our coaches include NCAA Division 1 National Champions and NCAA All-Americans.
Like a camp, FHIT Futures has set drop-off and pick-up times. But FHIT Futures is not a typical summer hockey camp. Here is the difference:
