Teams Overview

Train with Purpose.
Compete with Intention.

Competition means nothing without development behind it. Our team model exists for one reason: to help athletes transfer their training into real game performance.

Our Team Philosophy

Most teams are built around schedules, tryouts, and tournament brackets. Ours are built around development. Games are not just results. They are opportunities to apply training, identify growth areas, and build the habits that carry into the next level.

Our team structure is designed to provide athletes with intentional, high-level competitive experiences that align directly with their training. Every team within our system is an extension of our training environment. Competition is used as a teaching tool, not just an evaluation.

When athletes step onto the ice for a game, they are not stepping away from their development. They are stepping into the next phase of it.

Competition Close To Home

The best competition in hockey is right here in Minnesota. By keeping our athletes close to home, we maximize development and competition while eliminating unnecessary cost and travel time.

Our competition structure includes:

2 local tournaments
(May & August)
1 out-of-town tournament
6 team practices before each tournament

Our Teams

MAP Hockey membership runs year-round across two phases.

Team True AAA

Team True AAA teams are an extension of MAP Hockey. The coaches who develop your athlete in training are the same coaches behind the bench on game day. Elite competition, right here in Minnesota.

Falcons AAA

Falcons AAA provides FHIT Hockey members from Squirts through Bantams with competitive experiences designed to reinforce their training, build confidence, and develop real game awareness.
