Brandon McNamara, an Andover, Minnesota native, brings a wealth of competitive experience to the MAP team. A standout at Andover High School, Brandon capped his three-year varsity career by leading his team to a Section Championship appearance while recording an impressive 59-point senior season.
Following high school, Brandon played in the NAHL, where he spent three seasons with the Minnesota Wilderness, Janesville Jets, and the Kenai River Brown Bears.
Brandon’s collegiate career began at Gustavus Adolphus College for two seasons before he transferred to Hamline University. At Hamline, he emerged as a key player, leading the team in scoring and earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors as a junior. He concluded his collegiate tenure serving as team captain during his senior year. After a professional stint with the Fayetteville Marksmen and Peoria Rivermen, Brandon now focuses on developing the next generation of athletes at MAP Hockey.
