Cole was born in Richfield, Minnesota, and grew up playing hockey in his hometown. After a successful high school career, he left during his senior year to compete in the USHL, where he played for three seasons. Cole continued his hockey journey at the Division I level, playing for the United States Air Force Academy. Over his collegiate career, he recorded 147 points and made history as the first Air Force Academy cadet selected to participate in the World Class Athlete Program for hockey.
After college, Cole had the honor of representing the United States and went on to play one season of professional hockey in Germany. Following his playing career, Cole served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force for seven years. After transitioning to civilian life in 2022, he spent three years working as a program manager at The Boeing Company.
Cole is thrilled to return home to Minnesota and pursue his passion for coaching full-time. He brings a wealth of playing experience, discipline, and leadership to MAP Hockey and is excited to help develop the next generation of athletes.
