Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson was born and raised in Bemidji, Minnesota where he played both youth and high school hockey. In his three years on the varsity team at Bemidji High, he led his team in goals in twice, helping his team get to the state tournament both of those years, ultimately winning the consolation title as a senior. Following high school, Jack went north of the border to play his junior hockey with the Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, winning the league title and participating in the RBC cup in his second season. His third and final year of juniors was spent in the North American Hockey League after he was selected by the Shreveport Mudbugs in the NAHL draft, midway through the season Jack was traded to the Minnesota Wilderness where he earned multiple Player of the Week honors and a spot on Team Central at the Top Prospects tournament. After his junior career, Jack studied political science at Saint John’s University in Minnesota while playing for the Johnnies for 4 seasons, earning All-freshman team and All-conference team honors, as well as winning a MIAC Regular Season Championship. Post college, Johnson went overseas to play one season for the Amals Sportsklubb in Sweden before joining the team at MAP/FHIT.
